Choosing The Right Web Host

August 3, 2010 Leave a comment

A good host is as important to any website as its author. It is arguably the foundation of your website, your brand and your business. Any server downtime could potentially tarnish everything you’ve developed for your site. If you are serious about your website, you need to make sure it is in good hands.  Making a decision on which web hosting company to choose can be a strenuous task. With all the companies out there promising to have unlimited resources, perfect uptime, and knowledgeable support, there has to be a way to cut through the gibberish and make an educated decision. After dealing with numerous hosting companies like ipage firsthand; and reading a plethora of online justhost reviews. I came to the conclusion that there are only a few factors that should really mater when choosing the right web hosting.

The Diplomats (Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana) – Salute [CDQ] (2010) | HopStand

June 26, 2010 Leave a comment

Here is some new 2010 DIPSET for that ass… lol! I guess this is one of the 3 tracks KILLA was telling Funkmaster Flex about the other nite. This is the first time Camron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santanna, and Freekey Zekey have all featured on the same track in over 2 years. This is looking real promising for not only Harlem, but for NY Rap PERIOD. I hope they embrace the young BEAST Vado; and give him the same support they gave Juelz.

Of course, the big homie Funkmaster Flex got to drop the bombs on the first song from the reunited Diplomats, he played it tonite on his Friday night Hot97 show. And even though I missed the commotion while watching Ip Man 2, thankfully both Jimmy and Cam sent me the CDQ of the song, because I’ve been waiting to hear this too!….and share with you.

Here is the latest video to get released by the Barbadian songstress, Rihanna, called “Rude Boy.” It’s the third single US single to get get releases from her 4th studio album, “Rated R.” The music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas in January of this year. Melina directed Rihanna’s ‘Hard’ video too. Super producers, Stargate, produced and wrote this track. Singer/Songwriter, Ester Dean also cowrote the song.

Rihanna described the video as “completely different from any other video I’ve shot before. A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. ‘Rude Boy’ is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type.”

In an Interview with Q Magazine, Rihanna said “the song is about the kind of street, bad boy that girls sometimes like. There’s a danger and a swagger there.”

Cool Whips: Tommy Kaira Nissan GT-R R35 Ebbrezza-R “Silver Wolf” Edition

January 20, 2010 Leave a comment

If you didn’t get a chance to make the 2010 Tokyo AutoSalon last weekend, then you missed out on some sick car modifications; especially for Nissan’s most recent GT-R R-35 model. Amongst all the big unveils; the highly anticipated Ebbrezza-R sports package from Japanese car tuning and manufacturing company, Tommy Kaira, was a sure winner. It stood out, as if it were an American-built car (e.g a Ford Explorer) was on main display.

Even though Tommy Kaira is know for working their mechanical and visual magic mainly on Skylines, Marchs, Imprezas, and Legacy models; you couldn’t tell from this sports package. They did a complete modification of the Nissan GT-R R35 model, which mostly consists of styling and performance upgrades.

To increase the GT-R’s aerodynamics, the guys over at Tommy Kaira equipped it with a wide-body carbon fiber kit; consisting of a front grille cover lip, a lip spoiler, under-body and rear diffusers, side ducts, side skirts, a rear wide fender and a rear wing. There are two front bumpers to choose from, constructed out of wet carbon material like the rear diffuser. I feel bad for the first dumbass to crash this bad boy in advance… i know the repair bill will be something outlandish!

To squeeze every last drop of performance out of this Japanese icon, Tommy Kaira added a high performance titanium exhaust, Endless MONO6 & 6R Caliper Kit with 390mm rotors, and Quantum Super Sports Suspension Kit. They also added AVS Model F15 Platinum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, to help with grip and handling. They let the engine untouched… but judging by the R-35’s sports head gasket and initial horsepower, that was arguably a justifiable decision.
