OMG: Heavy D “No Matter What” (Music Video)

Initially, When I First Heard That Heavy D Was Making A Reggae Album And Lost 100+ Pounds I Said, “NO WAY!” See, You Have  To Understand. Heavy D Grew Up Where Im From (Mt. Vernon, NY Which Includes Denzel Washington, Ben Gordon, And P. Diddy Even-Though He, At Times, Doesn’t Claim It). I Knew He Had J.A. Roots But… I Didn’t Think It Would Have Led Him In This Direction.

Needless To Say, I Was Skeptical. It Was Not The Fact That He Lost Weight, But The Fact That Heavy D, Super Producer, Rapper Extraordinaire, Leader Of Heavy D & The Boyz, Mr.Dwight Errington Myers Himself Would Decide “Hey, Mi-A-Go-Be Big Time Reggae Artist.”

At First, I Was Skeptical. Even After Hearing The First Single “Long Distance Girlfriend” I Couldn’t Get Past The Fact It Was Heavy D. But, I Must Admit, After Hearing His Second Single  ”No Matter What” I Had To Give The Man His Credit. The Song Is Hard. I Tried And Tried, But To No Avail, I Found Myself  Singing The Chorus And Bopping My Head To The Instrumental.

It’s Official. I Had To Write This Long Ass Explanation To Show That I Was Sincere. Take A Listen. Honestly And Truly, This Song Is Worth At Least One. This I Can’t Contest. Give Us Your Feedback. His This Hot Or Not? Platinum, Gold, Or Wood?

The first track has to be the hottest hip-hop song i heard all summer. Also i’ve been following Ryan Leslie for the longest and i’ve yet to hear a bad instrumental from this talented guy. So when Loso’s Way Drop, Please Go Support. This dude Fabolous is one of the most underated rappers to me….

(Both Produced By Ryan Leslie)

WOW: The Game Goes After Jay-Z & Beyonce “Ain’t no P*ssy Like Hers…”

July 10, 2009 jaymalls 3 comments

I dont get this dude, one day he is dissing everybody in the rap indusrty & his brother. Then the next day he is putting out a Tribute song for one of, if not the greatest entertainer that ever lived, Michael Jackson. Then another day he is apologizing to the whole G-Unit/Aftermath/Interscope Family. NOW THISSSS!!! I really think he just starves for attention… IDK! But the question i ask to all you guys out there is do you think:

A. Jay-Z is going to beat the Sh*t out of this dude up when he sees him….

B. Jay-Z is going to put out a diss track/song and end this dudes career…

C. The game is going to keep putting out diss tracks/songs whether or not Jay-Z responds back to him…

D. Dame Dash is going to co-sign with the Game’s sh*t, and probably put Jim Jones on a remix…

E. Jay-Z is not even going to respond, he is going to let Beyonce answer back with a diss track on some “Diva” type ish…

The challenge: take an UNUSABLE album and make something of it. in this case Philip “Tubbs” Michael Thomas’ Living The Book Of My Life’s (sorry bruh, but you dont need me to state the obvious……right?) “She’s A Liar”. It took about 14 different parts of the record to make “something” out of it. lol. i was bored. *shoulder shrug*
